I believe your choice of a song to be the proof of your love to plain hard rock'n'roll. You are not alone, I also like such songs. And yes, you are right, this one wouldn't spoil any current Heep's live set. But I honestly don't understand why people tend to repeat how much they don't like Equator:  it sure has its moments in no lesser degree than any of this band's ( I mean, after Hensley's departure) "differentworlds" :))))) To my ears, the first three songs off it are of the same caliber as any good hard rock hit of that era.

I still like the vibe of a lot of this album, nevertheless.  For example, people do not mention Step By Step when the subject of DW comes up.  But somehow this song grabbed me more than most of the other songs and could have been a good addition to a setlist at the time. It is a pretty "pop-y" song as is most of the album but as Bob says"all Heep is good Heep" (Equator....not so much).
