First of all I want to state that living the dream is great but that does not mean it replaces anything in the Heep catalog! It’s all good if you don’t believe it see my signature file.  Outsider was outstanding and Living the Dream is a logical progression!!

There is one song that I previously did not think was going to be the classic off this CD but now I am convinced it will be. It is the outstanding “take away my soul” Mick’s guitar is a sharp as ever on this song,  the vocal harmonies, the lyrics, I hear  playing in my head “I’m a free man”.  I am very impressed with Phils keyboard playing on this song and throughout the whole album, he is much more dominant than on the previous one.  I believe Davy has emerged as a world-class bass player befitting of the heep tradition. Lastly the ending  minutes of this song, the pace is so fast and furious and Russell beating the drums reminds me of Rocky pummeling his opponent into oblivion!
