[Heeplist] it’s All Been Said

I think the songs on LTD are much more developed than on the last 3 CD's. I
thought Outsider was more a showcase for Phil's keyboard work than anything
else. I really like this new one. At least the best since SO and maybe SOL.
My only complaint is the Pledge Music process. I paid about $30 to get the
deluxe version and it comes after the release date. I was in FYE on Friday
and I could have bought it for $11.88 on the day of release.

It’s kind of tough to compare to outsider. I look at it this way, with LTD
they took Outsider to another level. On this record there’s a lot more
prominent keyboard solos and riffs. Davey has some parts where he solo’s
bass notes and that’s really cool too. The guitar work is very interesting
because Mick changes it up a lot with different sounds and I appreciate that
they added more effects to the songs then the previous album. Also except
for the song one minute the majority of outsider was very hard sounding. On
LTD there’s a lot more variety soft and hard. Of course this is all my
opinion see the sig. file and remember Big Dog once accused me of looking at
UH through Heep colored glasses!
