Ridge Farm sessoions were the first recording sessions for Abominog LP
in 1981. They were still using Hammond organ then but the producer
thought the sound was updated and wanted to modernise the sound and the
songs were re-recorded with keyboard player using synthesizers. Some of
these original demos have been released later: Playing For Time already
on b-side of Stay On Top single in 1984, Valley Of Kings on A Time Of
Revelation box in 1996, That's The Way That It is & Hot Persuasion on
remastered Abominog CD in 1997 and I'm Alive Again on remastered Still
'Eavy Still Proud CD in 1998. Children Of The Night was played live on
1982 tour and there are audience recordings. Total of ca. 10 songs were
recorded so there's still a few that haven't yet been released and
haven't been available for fans.
