You bring up a great point and I smell a good discussion here! My last two years of college 77 & 78 it seems rock was on its way out now only commercial hard rock band I remember with success was van Halen and Pop was the direction music was going to.  Then there was disco at least Heep did not go that route.  Can you imagine the disco version of Wizard?  He was a wizard of 1000 kings staying alive, staying alive. Lol
