Our taste of music is a personal thing, so I can only say that for me the five latest Heep albums are magical. And all of them are better than some of the Heep albums with Ken, as for example the album Innocent Victim. IV is a good album, but for me it has not the magic as we get now in the New Classical Heep era.
Right now I look forward to the next Heep album, very eagerly. I hope it will contain a new epic song in the veins of The Golden Palace, but that the whole album has a hard and fat sound picture more like Wake The Sleeper and Into The Wild than the radio tuned sound picture of SO.
Outsider has a good sound picture, but it has a lack of contrasts, it is to much rock.
