Every time I've seen Heep play in Vancouver in a cabaret style venue, the
band members were mingling in with crowd, talking and signing autographs.
I remember one unscheduled stop-over in Vancouver, Kerslake was the centre
of attraction, charming everyone, he was in a real good mood.
Bernie was out and about with his family that showed up.
Basically that evening talked to all the band members and we waved them off
at their bus that evening, I think they were heading to Vegas. That was an
interesting evening because their sound system completely crashed after the
second song of their set .
They walked off the stage till the crew were able to repair the problem,
after about 30 or. 40 min they came back, good to go for the rest of the
evening.
