[Heeplist] Rockin' Christmas with Heep and Yardbirds

When I get to meet the band the next time I dont' have to ask them  
about this because I already know the answer. Does someone on the list  
seriously think that Heep for some reason doesn't want to play in  
Canada or other parts of The USA than the east coast? For your  
information: Heep isn't exactly the kind of mega band that could  
decide where they play and just pick the best of the gigs what they're  
offered. They are and always have been a touring band and it is 100%  
sure that they play anywhere in the world where they can if it's  
profitable. They earn their living by playing live so they can't tour  
just for the fun of it if they end up losing money. Why they don't  
play in Canada is just because they aren't able to put together a tour  
that would make sense financially. Often it's the case that there is  
no promoter that would be interested in taking them or just that there  
is not enough demand and the concert place owners are not interested.  
They would have to hoop up with a promoter that would be willing to  
work hard to get a tour together and it's not easy as if a promoter is  
interested in only making money there are thousands of other bands  
that are bigger names nowadays and it's much easier to book shows than  
for a band like Heep that never even was a really big name.
