Sorry Igor, but you really do need to get your ears checked :-) This album is the acid test of how a singer can ruin an album. There is no way Sloman compares to how much better John Lawton does some of the songs. The best you can say about it is, well nothing actually :-)

No problem. Conquest is a one-of-a-kind LP, it is very well made, the songs are great (all of them, not 2 or 3, like on 82-91 albums) :))), it has that Heepy feeling missing later on, but Glenn Hughes type of vocals is not everybody's cup of tea, that is for certain. :) As for me, I like him much more than Goalby or Shaw, he is the 70-s vocalist while the latter ones clearly belong to a different "hard rock" era.
