At least what I have heard is what Mac already mentioned that the  
reason why all songs on High And Mighty are by Ken was simply because  
at the time of the recording no one else had any new songs. These  
songs Ken had originally meant to be on his third solo album but gave  
them to the band. I don't remember reading anywhere that Byron would  
have been upset about this, not even in interviews that were done  
immediately after leaving the band. If this had been a problem for him  
then surely he would have mentioned that as he was otherwise bitter  
about the situation. High And Mighty was the first album that the Heep  
guys produced themselves, Bron didn't have any say on it. If the other  
guys had had songs to offer then I think surely they would have been  
included.
