[Heeplist] Reply about radio

I would like to say that polls which ask for opinions of the greatest bassists (or any subject) without defining the criteria to be used as a basis for the choices is sort of meaningless. Do they include which of the bassists also play other instruments well like Getty Lee or JPJ? Are they including the jazz, country, classical, or blues genres? I have heard many bassists from many genres and I cannot choose a list of the best ones. Too difficult unless one narrows down the criteria a bit and therefore the list. There are virtuosos within all genres.

If you get the complete list, I still would like to see what the public have chosen.

Ed
