I wouldn't call them "more primitive", if we're not talking about Easy Livin', of course :)))))))))))))))))))))) Any classic solo by Box is quite sophisticated - I believe you remember Salisbury or Dreamer, as an example of that "primitiveness". The fact is, today he plays more, and there's more gain to his guitar -
