I agree with Igor that Kansas is not the band they once were, I think
because Kerry Livgren left  as the creative force.  Heep has a similar
situation when their most creative influence / keyboard player left.

I do take exception to the dig at the current lineup of UH.  Yes, I admit I
would take David Byron, Hensley, Kerslake and Thain over current members.
However in the case of Byron and Thain, that is not an option.  And from
what I saw back at HV2008, Lee is not up to the rigors of touring.  I would
love to see Ken and Paul Newton come back and rejoin Heep.  But we all know
that is not going to happen.  That said, they guys in there now are doing a
great job, they are working hard at touring and, and, and I emphasize "AND"
are coming out with new music!!  It is not the classic lineup, but at least
they are doing new music and growing as a band, rather than sounding like
has beens living off greatest hits of yesteryear.  Sadly most of my 70's
heroes are doing that, but not Heep.
