Something really strange has happened with the first three 're- released Zeppelin albums coming out I have a renewed interest, at the time these albums came out I was a big Zeppelin fan, but over the years I became so sick of this band I couldn't stand hearing them. But when the live BBC was officially released, I had to have it, and it was the same with How the West Was Won. But it's seems after a few listens my interest is gone again for a few more years. Anyway I'm really looking forward to the live disc with the first album, so while I wait I've been listening to the audio from the 70 concert on the How the West was won DVD, which really is great, I'm glad I can extract the audio off DVDs because this to me is the best official live release to date from Zeppelin, I'm also listening to the How the West CD set as well, also really good, but the early shows have always been the best. I'm not a big blues fan, but loved Hendrix playing the blues, and Zeppelin was at their best when playing more blues based music like the first four albums. Well, you can say what you want about them but to me the first four albums were all classic releases that none of the later albums matched. DS
