nothing new, but I was digging through some archived emails and ran across
these, far as I know Mick only sent out three of these but I am still
waiting for the next edition.

* Mick Box.net E-Mailer - Issue 2 May 2006*

     [image: Mick Box] <http://www.mick-box.com/>Hello !

Well, we sure started the website with a bang !

Thats what we wanted, and with your help it happened.

We were able to award 20 people with gifts ranging from UH Jackets to Mick
Box Guitar Pics with CDs, DVDs and and pictures and posters in between !
See who won here ! <http://www.mick-box.net/webwinners1.asp>

Our thanks to Vinnie Lagana at www.the-musicbox.com for donating the
fabulous pictures and posters he has done !.

We were in touch with all the winners and their prizes will be shipping
shortly !

Great fun !

A couple of things to mention, and then some words from Mick.

As you may know, we have launched our * The Shirt Off my Back
<http://www.mick-box.net/sombauctions/index.html>* Auction and it is in
process right now. Our 1st auction item just happens to be *just that* ! A
shirt from Mick that you will have seen in concert and on DVD.

 <http://www.mick-box.net/sombauctions/index.html>All the details are
here<http://www.mick-box.net/sombauctions/index.html>, but the
important part of this is that all the proceeds from our auctions
will go to benefit Cancer Research UK at http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/.

We thank you in advance for your support of our auctions. Keep those bids
coming. It may take a little while to post your latest bids as they come in
throughout the day , so please bear with us. If you have bid, we have
received !

Successive Auctions will feature other kinds of Box and Heep items we will
be donating ( and not all shirts !), on as regular of a basis as we can,
considering the touring schedule, but do stay tuned to the website for all
details !

As our 1st Auction finishes up on the 12th of May, we will be quick to
announce and spotlite the Winner only if they allow us !

Following right on the heels of that, we will host a one time fun feature
were calling
"*Do You Wah?*" !!

Its time to dust off your Wah Wah, and hook it up to your guitar, keyboard,
washboard, or whatever you wish and start practicing now !. Details on our
contest will be at the website after the auction ends so please do NOT send
us any music files...this will be a different kind of contest, and if it
works as we plan, it should be a great way for us to listen to YOU wah !

As Uriah Heep hits the road shortly, Dave Owen, Charlie Evans, Chris
Kodjamanis and Mick will be searching out Internet connections to bring you
news from the road both on
www.mick-box.net and www.uriah-heep.com. Its the 1st time we are going to
go live like this, so bear with us ! Itll be interesting to see just how it
works, but we think itll be pretty cool.

Also, Mick has sent in more pictures of his guitars ! These are on the page
we call "A Look at the House of Box".

There are 41 shown, but there are more scattered around the world that
havent made it to England yet. (Interesting stories Im sure )

If youre a guitar player, you need to check these out at the website.

We had an interview with Chris go up right after the site opened, and hope
you found that interesting.

There are a lot of things that are going to happen shortly, but we want to
space them out over the next few months in order to keep a steady stream of
fun and interest at the site.

Mick has received each and every letter that was written to him from the
website page. <http://www.mick-box.net/fanspeak.html> His comments are that
they are fabulous and many were quite heartfelt. As time allows I think he
will write to a great many.

*From Mick: A warm hello to you all ( I say that as it is really hot and
sunny here in London England today ) and I hope that you are enjoying the
website as much as I am. The prize winners will all be sent their prizes
shortly and it was a lot of fun with Romeo my son choosing the winners. I
am pleased that The Cancer Research Charity auction is going well and a big
thank you to those who have bid for literally The Shirt Off My Back
<http://www.mick-box.net/sombauctions/index.html>. The Do You Wah contest
should be a lot of fun and I am looking forward to that and please stay
tuned for the on the road updates from Christos, Dave and Charlotte. (Thats
with internet connection permitting of course) Well we hope to keep this
site moving all the time with lots of ideas flowing so that you keep coming
back and thank you so much for taking the time to be a part of this already
as I really do appreciate that. Appy Days, Mick*

Thats it for now...

If there is anything youd like to mail to the webmaster, please use
the address mickboxnet at yahoo.com .ideas for the website, comments ,
whatever.

All will be read, and once in a while a random little something will be
sent out !
