[Heeplist] John Lawton news - album out in May

Someone here at the site does not allow me to post messages on my own, so I
can only add to a conversation, not start one of my own. I have no
hostility for YOU nor can any be found in any of my messages, and when YOU
write me intelligently like now, we will never have a problem, just a
difference of opinion. Oh how quickly one forgets the Ronnie James Dio "We
Rock" Mailing List, and his wife, Wendy Dio, but I am not one to hold
grudges, so if YOU choose not to remember, then so be it. Still, the
"funnier and weirder" comments are your little digs that are not necessary.
If one makes the comment, "That's bullshit!", that does not mean that I am
hostile toward YOU it just means that I do not agree... strongly, but it
does not fill YOU up with such fecal material, that was your
misunderstanding. I have also said two to three times to forget it, but
YOU and your buddies Staf and Mac seem to not desire that. In any case, as
I wrote a moment ago, as long as we are chatting intelligently than we can
continue to discuss whatever YOU like, that is why we are all here. I am
totally fine talking about anything in Rock music, whether we share the
same feelings or agree is totally beside the point. If I only hang around
with people that agree with everything that I say, then what do I have? We
all like different songs, different members, different discs, etc., and
with "Uriah Heep" that is one of the things that make them such a special
band. "Magic Lantern" is one of the best songs that Mick Box ever
recorded; it thrills me to know that not everyone knows of that song or
likes it; no-one need agree with me, however, if one person reading this
goes out to buy some "Spice" songs, or realizes just how long and magical
Mick's playing has been over the years, then it was all worth it. That is
why I am here. I am not here to win over people to my prowess in any
particular areas. I would love to make friends, sure, but I have seen how
people treat Igor, for example, just because he is from what all of YOU
believe is Russia (I think that he is actually from Estonia). I have been
a member off-and-on, due mainly to changing E-Mail addresses, since 1998.
No, I haven't made many friends here, if any. I have chatted privately
with Bob about religion, and I receive nice, intelligent, informed comments
from Igor. That's my status here. I just add my two cents to
conversations. Everyone is free to do what they will with the information.
Maybe I am rambling now, but I just wanted to make my side clear. Do
whatever YOU like, just try to be friendly, which I think that I have been
in all of my messages to YOU. The only flame war here is the label that
someone added to the conversation, probably some xenophobe, who thinks that
I am actually Chinese and that I have no right to be here, which is why I
mentioned my passport. I would like this to be the last message on this
topic, but I am sure that someone will continue it, and if I choose not to
reply, then I am sure that they will claim some sort of victory; and, I
hope that makes them happy.
