yeah we used to hide the stash in a empty 8track cartridge also . Awesome
place . I still love my tapes although I am getting rid of a thousand tapes
I dont listen to , mostly country . The thrift stores had them for ten
cents (US $) each and I had a player in my shop bay so a couple times a
week I would hit the thrift shops and pick up a bag or two of them . I
picked up alot of great tapes ( no HEEPs) and filled some spots in my music
collection . There arent many tapes showing up , and players are starting
to be rare . Thankfully I picked up a few good ones to keep me going . The
one that sounds best with my stereo system I actully have 2 of in great
shape . If you still have one , it is recommended you play it once a year
to keep the motor all lubed up and to get the belts flat spot smoothed out
.
