OMG !!!!!
I just received the Complete Fillmore concerts from Humble Pie and I was totally blown away !
I thought the original Performance: Rockin’ The Fillmore was great, but this set totally puts a whole new perspective on the explosiveness of HP. The first disc is the first of two shows on 5/28/71 and it is all previously un-released and it is somewhat raw and kind of a warm-up for what is to follow on disc two. What I like about this right away is the continuity of the set list, as it doesn’t jump around from different performances during the two-night gig. Disc two starts with Four Day Creep, I’m Ready, I Walk On Gilded Splinters (all previously un-released) then proceeds with Hallelujah (I Love Her So), Rollin’ Stone and I Don’t Need No Doctor (as released on the original recording). Again, it is the flow of the original performance that makes this far superior to how the set list is on the first one. Plus it has all been re-mastered to bring out a clarity I never heard before.

Truly, this is one of the greatest live performances ever captured and (don’t kill me) even surpasses Heep’s Live ’73 in my humble opinion. I have just listened to the first two discs today, but will be waiting to hear discs 3 & 4 tomorrow. If you have ordered this, you will not be disappointed.
