Well, Shawn, the sales statistics no doubt prove you right here, but I think any of the Byron era albums belongs to that league as well. If I had to choose between say High And Mighty or any of them, I'd feel puzzled. The same applies in fact to any choice situation with Heep 1970-77 (Firefly inclusive) albums. Music and musicians make it special. If you lose ANY of the classic Heep ingredients, it is no longer the same quality, simple as that. Plus time factor: the 70-s had a special vibe to the music, especially if it is classic hard rock. That is why, for instance, Abominog or Sea Of Light will never quite make it for me. And yes, I know I am too conservative especially for a relatively young guy :))))))))))))))))
Cheers, Igor

The rest is... for die hard fans of the 80-s-90-s Heep only. In a way it continues the path of Raging Silence but the melodies are mostly poor and so is the sound. I believe whatever the musicians say, they actually understood they did something very wrong after some time (perhaps, even at once) - and the outcome was a totally different approach while working on the next record which happens to be the most loved post-Hensley era disk by some people here. However, I do prefer Sonic Origami to Sea Of Light, but that is another story.
