I should add that i wore a Heep shirt to the show, and got a great reaction. 
Some old hippy on the corner [not Mac], selling bootleg shirts went nuts over it, telling me his fave songs from the first few albums, a few people even approached me in the Arena lobby - one told me it was the coolest shirt he'd seen all night, and another [w/ a Rainbow 77 tour shirt] talked a bit about it as well.... pretty cool. 
Before show, got to visit rock writer Martin Popoff's office -- a friggin amazing site -- wall to wall autographed albums, posters, back stage passes, etc.... got a few of his latest books as well, books on Dio, Thin Lizzy, Scorpions, and Deep Purple [which incudes a number of Heep mentions] .
