I agree Dave and I don't blame Russell.  I'm just stating what I heard. 
Hey, they are musicians and I'm sure without lots of thought and total 
agreement would they make such decisions lightly.  Like you say Dave it's 
just opinions and little snippets picked up along the way.  Personally I 
think Russell is a fantastic drummer and added a different dimension to 
Heep.  Lee and Russell styles are different but both are great in their own 
way, Russell has probably moved them into a new era with a more modern style 
but Lee will always be the master of the Heep sound to my ears.  We are 
lucky to have so much talent ascociated with Heep.

I wondered how long before Russell started getting blamed after reading 
these posts, It's funny how one small bit of info that may or may not be 
true gets rolling, I never read to much into what I read when it's based on
