[Heeplist] What will the future bring?

Wasn't he indeed? And wasn't he also the best singing bassist with the band as well? That was really  weird David, because those 2 albums with him are superb, and not without his input as we all know. It's the other thing that his heart perhaps wasn't completely in it and he presumably didn't get on well with some of them when it came to him leaving out of the blue (?), but like it or not, those two albums were way-way more classical than ANYTHING that came afterwards. That was their golden era - sadly, it will never return, but we mustn't forget that. I am not his fan at all, I do not like so-called progressive music of King Crimson etc. that much (I'd rather say "at all" if not for some songs off "Red"), but we must be fair: he was a personality and quite an important one during a certain part of their glory period.
Cheers, Igor

>John Wetton is way to busy and not a good fit, never really was. They really need someone younger that fits with the band first, and if they can sing that's a bonus, I'm just not sure what they really want to do. But it's interesting to talk about, maybe Steve from the John Lawton Band, don't know what he's doing now just thought since we're throwing out names. DS
