Lawton, Trevor Bolder, Chris Slade and a team of leading critics and
reviewers.

This now out of
print DVD set contained a 96 page
fully illustrated book with revised illustrated and
extended version of Dave Ling’s authorized official history of Uriah Heep
fully cross referenced to rare live and studio performances spanning the
entire career of Uriah Heep featured on the four accompanying DVDs.
Also included is a condensed version of Born To Perform - The David Byron
Story by Jeff Perkins. A fantastic tribute to the late great David Byron
which perfectly compliments “The Sweet Freedom Tapes” based on newly
discovered interviews featuring David in 1973.
The original release contained never
before seen silent footage from the Firefly tour but it was cut short
and the audio dubbed in from unauthorized sources. |

Legends

This
was released as the holy grail for every Uriah Heep fan. At that
time it was; containing
previously unreleased footage of film and television performances from
1972, 1973, 1974 and 1975 and 1976 never before available on DVD,
featuring the late, great David Byron at his very best.
Digitally restored and
re-mastered for 5.1 Surround Sound this is the long awaited audio visual
celebration of one of the greatest front men in the history of rock.
This long out of print set was released in a single DVD for most
commercial markets. The second disc was collectors footage
only yet presented some excellent looks into Byron's onstage
performances. The
fans did have problems with a lot of the material and the presentation,
mainly the overdubbing of sound from the Japan 73 footage with the Live
73 official audio.
