‘Closer to your dreams’ is one of the tracks not included on the LP I bought. I listen to it on streaming. It is one of my favourites for several reasons. Russell plays a shuffle beat often favoured by Lee. The bass lines are a throw-back to the 70s that gives you the associations to Easy Livin’ and Free ’n’ Easy. Classic Heep in a fresh 2023 version. My streaming stats say I have played all or parts of the album 607 times since Jan 27:-) I usually go by line-up/singer and my two cents say it’s the best Bernie album and I need to return to the 1970s to find something comparable. Hats off to Mick, Bernie, Phil, Russell and Dave for making the album of the year so far.

In my opinion, this could've been a single because it sound more familiar to someone that has not heard keep over the last 50 years since the early 70s. Once you get past the beat and music sounding like the fore-mentioned singles is really a lively tune, some really nice guitar riffs by Mick, and a great way to close out the album.

I have listened to the CD continuously daily since January 27, so in the third month, it still sounds as fresh and innovative as ever, very pleased. Would be nice to see some of your thoughts.
