Dave, thank you so much, the links worked great. Both reviews were positive
and I loved the video Lee did for Celia Ciena. I recognized Mick in the
video but not the other players. The cardboard drum set was pretty cool and
with all the flashbacks to a young boy, I can only assume this girl (the
title of the song) had an influence on lee when he was younger.

I really enjoy Lee's cd, very masterful instrumentation, outstanding vocals
by Lee. I love 6 of the 8 songs. Port and a Brandy is really cool, but it
is so different and more of a party song, but nice change of pace on the
album. The cover of You Got A Friend is better than the original. But I
have heard the song so many times over the years, I always hated the song
because as a teenager, when the song was out, every girl I liked or asked
out, would say, "lets just be friends". Funny thing is, when they said
that, I never spoke to them again. I took it as rejection, so the song
means rejection for me, and I cannot enjoy it. However, the cd is poignant
and no true Heep fan can be without it.

Ken's cd is also a must have. I think it is his best slide and hammond
since D&W. All the songs have insightful lyrics and the instrumentation
reminds me of mid 70's heep. One of the songs seems to share some of the
characteristics of Hanging Tree off Firefly.

Overall, both have left us a rich legacy of music and their farewells to us,
nicely done.

Ps Current Heep can take a lesson from what these vital former members have
blessed us with.
