Well said Knut. Sometimes though I think we expect too much of our hero’s. With a 50 year catalog it’s hard not to recycle five notes. (EGBDF). I personally believe that every good boy does fine should be changed to AHIGH. (All Heep is good Heep). And there’s not that many chords either. I have asked one question on this list for over 20 years and no one has ever been able to answer?

Here is the question: “besides UHeep, name a band that is still around from the early 70’s, Still cranking out music & avidly touring like heep does?”

And the ones that are still around bore the crap out of me ZZ Top, Van Halen, foreigner, Stones, Journey? Or Yes version 1 or 2? I love Neil Young music, but man what a string of clunkers he’s had in the last two decades!!

So I sing “keep on heeping in the free world”!!!

To be honest I hate every new Heep album until I play a few times and it grows on me, the. Wham!! It goes beyond growing lol! It seems Heep changes their style on every album yet retains a core sound, I hope I’m describing this correctly.
