Not sure if Uriah Heep's second night on tour has been reviewed yet,
but here goes...Oh what a night it was! There are not enough words to
describe how great they were last night. They woke up the little town
of Miramar Beach on the Emerald Coast of Florida and everyone seemed
to really enjoy their performance. The first night of Heeps'
performance in the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood Fl was one of the
largest venues that we have seen Heep perform in, but last night's
venue was probably the smallest venue at the Village Door Concert
Hall in Miramar Beach. Not sure how many attended the concert, but I
am guessing somewhere between 150-200 people. The audience was
composed of locals, vacationers that just happened to be dining
there, and folks that were actual Uriah Heep fans. Still do not know
exactly how NW Florida landed Uriah Heep, but all I know is we are
truly the lucky ones! I do not know whether there were any of the
meet and greet packages offered at the Miramar Beach performance, but
with the small venue and being within 10 feet of the band, we had our
own meet and greet just by being there. Bernie said at the beginning
of the show "Welcome to our private little party' which is what the
evening felt like. We witnessed Uriah Heep in their purest form at
this very small and intimate venue. The band played as if they were
playing for the large masses. All of the band seemed to enjoy
themselves, and performed at the top of their game. The band played
for one and one-half hours and gave us 12 songs. The songs from the
Uriah Heep May 4th non-J.P. concert included: 1.) Grazed by heaven,
2.) Too scared to run, 3.) Living the dream, 4.) Take away my soul,
5.) Knocking at my door, 6.) Rainbow demon, 7.) Rocks in the road,
8.) Gypsy, 9.) Look at yourself, 10.) July morning, 11.) Sunrise, and
12.) Easy Living. I will have to say "Rocks in the road" was one of
my favorites that they performed and should be their new anthem. Each
and every band member shined on that tune, but every song sounded amazing.

Seeing the opening night of Uriah Heep with J.P. versus last night
without J.P. confirms what we all already knew to be the case. If you
can, support Heeps' efforts to tour with J. P. so that they can get
some good exposure, but if Heep comes to or near your town without
J.P. - run and do not walk to get those tickets!

Our Uriah Heep 2019 North American tour epic journey started on
Friday (May 3rd) for the opening night and we have just returned
home. We covered 1200 miles in 3 days with 18 hours in the car. The
mighty Heep was worth every mile and every minute in the car. Enjoy
your time with Uriah Heep!
