Yep. Haven't seen much concerts this year, so this definitly made this year way better. I didn't attend Sweden Rock this year. But I guess that gig was shorter and probably with more focus on elder songs, but I don't know... just guessing.

He and the singer is still in the band since 1964. They played way more tight this night then on some videos I've seen at Youtube. In those videos they reminds me a bit of Lucifer's Friend at their first srf gig. And I don't mean the songs or the sound, but the way that they played. Good but rusty, not so tight. But not so on the stage this night. They were awesome. Bass player was a Danish guy.
> The singer was splendid, and often went up high. He sung a song from Alan Parson project as well. Anchor was She's Not There from 1965. And it was heavy and dense, containing great solos both on guitar and keys. Nothing like it was in the 60ies.

So I was wandering what kind of audience it was, where they here mostly for the Zombies or for Heep? We all enjoyed the Zombies, so they turned us all on. But, right from the beginning of the UH gig it became clear that this was truly a Heep audience. We all got excited, over and over again. The audience was alive and thrilled.

It felt like in 1996, when Linnéa and I saw UH in Uppsala the year after they released SOL. Then they also played several of the new songs. This time it was Olivia (now 18) and me. She was wild into every song, and in the end she caught a plectrum from Davey.

> I was a bit back, on the right, Davey-side with Olivia, at the wall. I'm to old for the crowd bunch. So believe me when I tell you the audience was thrilled. I saw them from that position.

My computer is slow and it takes ages to transfer some files with bluetooth to my computer. But when I got a link to post, today, tomorrow, or maybe in a weeks time... you will at least be able to catch the feelings in the audience this night.
