I am glad you enjoyed it, Lannis.  When I was there they had a couple of opening bands, one of which had a 20 year old singer/guitarist who sang and played fantastically but her voice was either screeching and overly loud or non-existent so I had to just listen through the distortion.  When Bernie came on stage,  he handed back his mic during the first song and the second mic was too low so it must have been other equipment malfunctioning like you heard about.
Have fun out there guys.  The Kent Stage was my last Heep concert for the year.

The Kent show on the 3rd was great, perfect sound. Davey did say they had some bad equipment on the 1st, but got it straighten out for the Mar 3rd show.

Yes, I agree about the sound at Rocky Mount!  Too bad I couldn't stay.  By conparison, The Kent Stage was pretty bad.  I hope they get Bernie's vocals straightened out before the next show.
