It was a great concert and I may add some more comments later but I have been driving for 8 hours today and am not prepared to write for very long. Let me just add a few things for now.

I was impressed that Bernie mentioned that he thought the crowd was surprised that there was such a large crowd for the middle of the week - they never expected the numbers that were there. The boys played up to the level of enthusiasm that the crowd projected..they really worked out. I noticed something that maybe no one else did about the sound. Maybe others can comment on this. To me, it sounded as if the mixer (soundboard)was set up to output in stereo, which I have never experienced by a rock group. Usually, concert sound is in mono so that everyone hears the same mix no matter how the room is arranged. I distinctly could hear Dave much louder than Mick. I was on the upper level, stage left where Dave was situated. Was I having a drug induced flashback ;-) or did anyone else notice this?

It was great to see everyone there: Lannis, Bobbie, Bob, Norma, Merrick, the German groupies (sorry, sisters) and a newbie lady from all the way in Houston who had never seen Heep live before and was ecstatic to be there.

Ed
