I am posting this on behalf of Mike Fredrick. Note he has a Yahoo email
address, not sure if that has to do with him being unable to post.
There is a nice picture on facebook of Mike, myself and Mick from the
Annapolis show in 2010

Now that there are some official Canadian dates listed for next February on
the official Heep website, it appears that they are actually coming over the
pond!! So I thought a good thread would be to share your story of your last
Heep show. This is open to all, as there are other countries that are Heep
starved as well!!

The last time I saw Heep was February 2015 at BB Kings in New York City.
This was the 3rd or 4th time I saw them there since 2010, however this was
the first time they had a warmup act there. My wife and I sat in the middle
of the venue, and the sound was phenomenal. A bootleg did appear of the
show, so I have that for posterity! It was really great to see some other
Heep fans too. The Jones were over from the UK, I met Richard Steiger, Mac
and JC Richards as well as many others. After the show, it was late and we
had a train to catch, so I did not think we could get backstage to greet the
band. I was up by the stage to get a picture of the setlist, it is usally
taped to the floor where Mick and Bernie stand. A security guard came up to
me and said ³follow me² What I hadn¹t known was my wife passed a note to a
guard earlier to give to Mick. So I got back stage and Mick wished me a
happy birthday (this was February, my birthday is in September) I never saw
the note, but anyhow it worked. I also got to meet Davey Rimmer and chat
with him for a bit. However, we did have to catch a train, it was a midweek
gig, which meant we both had to leave, so we could get to work the next day.

The highlight of the show for me, was 2 things, Hanging Tree, which I love
the song and then they also did ³What Kind of God² and ³Magicians Birthday²
back to back. Bernie mentioned something from the stage about the prog part
of the band, and ³we have something old and something new for you²
