[Heeplist] The end of Classic Rock Magazine?

Here in Pennsylvania, any company of 50 or more employees has to give 60
days notice to the state and employees if they are shutting down, so I guess
it does vary state to state.

Not really, companies close down all the time in the states without paying
the employees, normally the top investors and CEOs get their money first and
what's leftover if any then will go to the employees. I remember the company
next to us came in one day to find the locks changed and they never did get
paid, but the owner didn't lose a dime. Though it differs from state to
state but the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, as always the more
you have the less you pay. DaveS

How do they get away with not paying the staff for December? That would get
someone in deep legal trouble in the US.

They are hoping to sell on the titles

It will be up to the insolvency accountants to get the best deal for those
owed
