[Heeplist] New record?

[Scott Manion]

Is there anyone who can answer the question of whether they have recorded
anything?  Sounded as if they took the time off to do some new album stuff
but not a peep from them on anything they have done or are working on.  

They don't need something new out right away given the strength of Outsider.
But it sounded as if work on a new album was imminent after the cruise.

Who's got any insight?

For me nothing at all is more interesting than if they make more Heep music.
That is what I need. 5 records in 20 years is not much, but way more than
zero. And nobody else make such good music.
I believe I understand all Mick's choices about partners and control. He is
damned right in being careful. I think they've learned the lesson once and
for all after the cancelled US tour after SO. And I also think they've
learned the lesson not trying to make the sound radio smooth again.
