Hi Ian!

Do you know if there exist a studio version of this song:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3N1POOwe3Hs

It is film music, ("Right On Time" by "Metamorphosis" in the film Who Dares Wins, 1982) and some of the guys in that band are from Fairport Convention.

I think the one suggesting that the list was a rotting corpse seems to have stirred things up a bit! I think my Heep engagement is not as long running as many on here but it started a long time ago when Demons and Wizards was the third album I ever bought (after Killer and Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper). Magicians Birthday followed soon after when I had saved up the readies. Was down the record shop when Sweet Freedom came out. Filled in the gaps with VHVH, Salisbury and Look at Yourself, which is very underrated I think. Have to admit I haven't followed a lot of releases in more recent times but very interested to follow the debates on here about the merits of various line ups. Certainly loved Byrons vocals and loved the keyboards from Ken (which I always thought came out very poorly in the mix on UH Live). I also think Gary Thain was a great loss as his bass playing stands out.

Anyway Fairport are still going and coming up for their 50th year with one original member, Simon Nicol, though he did have a couple of years out about 35 years ago so maybe doesn't qualify?
