[Heeplist] Only 1 original member?

Deep Purple is another band with only one member, through the point could be made  that the first version of Purple was a complete different version of the band. DaveS

On the flipside if you consider a band as an institution as a name, that is a different story.  Sports rosters turn over every several years.  so there are no living original members of the 1927 Yankees for example. However it still says Yankees on their shirts.
