[Dave Crookham]

The problem was they never performed together because of Roth's ego. Sammy 
thought the whole purpose was they would each do their own sets then finish 
with a few tunes together. Then, once the tour started, Dave refused. If you 
ever heard any boots from that tour Dave's voice was already gone.

Hi Dave,

Your right they were never together playing with Van Halen but, the both of
them did go on there own to do some Van Halen music together and man what a
shit show of egos .
It's like they were competing with each other to be back with the band or,
trying to stay on with the band.
