Hello my beautiful friend and thanks for looking after me as you always do. No, I didn't make the last train but crashed in a very pleasant hotel in Paddington. Still here. I hope you made it to wherever you were going, and I hope you will be cool n groovy in Pompey in your new life. Don't forget we must regroup for Heepvention if not before. Deep peace n love with sincere gratitude, your friend for life, Marty xxxxx

> Believe it or not, we were spoiled with FIVE songs from The Outsider (Speed of Sound, The Law, The Outsider, One Minute and Can't Take That Away)***, one from WTS (What kind of God) AND, not enough, they also played The Magician's Birthday on its entirety! Of course they couldn't miss playing a few classics (Stealing, July Morning and Lady in Black) and they ended with the emblematics Gypsy and Easy Living.
> ** for each new song they played I kept thinking how Igor would be delighted with this selection of songs!!! Hope you're doing great dear friend!
> Bernie was at his best, in a very good mood he talked a lot to the audience between songs, he told us that was the last gig of the UK tour and he was very pleased to finish it at Koko (which is a venue I always wanted to visit).
