Subject: [Heeplist] Live shows
I think what many need to remember is there's a lot of fans in fact more at the shows that don't remember Heep from the 70s but from the 80s, those of us that remember the classic lineup are fewer and fewer every year. My wife is one that can't understand what anyone sees in David Byron, and things anything with Bernie or John Lawton is far better than anything with David, not that she doesn't like him, she thinks he's ok just not great, she also thinks from the 90s on they are far better than any time before that, and she was around and even saw the classic lineup. She's not the only one I've known or talked to that feels this way, though when I meet older people that remember Heep seem to think they stopped playing after High and Mighty, and never knew they have always been around. And at least two people I meet in the last month were excited to hear they were playing in any format and both said they are going to the show here after I told them about it. Dave S
