Welcome aboard! I'm still hoping they get near Western Pennsylvania on this 
tour.

I'm a big fan of the official bootleg series. You can get the mp3's of most 
of them for $5 or $6 on Amazon. That will give you a good idea of what they 
sound like today and how tight they are live.

Newbie here...Just got front row seats for the show in Ridgefield CT in
early 2015.

I've never seen the Heep before.  I don't even know their music that well
(if at all).  I just bought the 7-disc CD boxset (Hard to Keep a Good Band
Down) as well as the Magician's Birthday (DVD) for starters.

I would too like something representative of what the band sounds like today
so I bought the Special Edition of Celebration (CD/DVD).

Is that a good place to start?
