Thanks Mark, I still think that was an awesome lineup. I have always loved
Paul Newton's bas work and the story of his departure is sad. I was also
trying to make a point that by the time Demons & Wizards came out, the band
was down to 3 original members and in two years went through several bass &
drummers. The argument could be made that the Look at Yourself lineup was
the classic lineup and the D&W was the sellout to commercialism. Yet D&W
seems to be the gold standard for classic Heep. At the very least a Gold
Lp! :-)
