[Heeplist] No apologizes

I have played in cover bands, original bands I have played everything from blues to metal to pop to to rock to experimental noise to electronic. As far as if I have original idea or not that is funny as I would put my musical resume up against most people who would criticize me. Some musicians are happy with being in a comfort zone playing the same thing. Me I love to try different styles. Whether it was learning covers or creating originals. The most important thing for me musically is having fun, making it sound good.

I find it disputable whether a musician should be open to anything new. If you are just a player, do it for the money, and have no ideas of your own - well, right you are, fine. But I 'd rather die than play certain music genres (modern pop, punk, gunge, and many others), and, as a player, I have my definite preferences. Hair metal? That's ok with me as long as they can play, Motley Crue sound way much entertaining to me than Cranberies, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen or U2. :)))
