I think it became a bit fashionable to bash the album and cry "I wanna delete this." Oh boo hoo, you got some MP3's ... Every time I buy a lame-ass MP3 player, there's a handful of lame-ass MP3's by a bunch of nobodies included. At least this time it was U2. Don't like it? Don't listen to it. 

For clarity's sake: this is aimed at all the random internet comments, not at anyone on the list specifically. But if you feel insulted by my post ... it means it came through and you managed to read it! Hurrah !

It's a novel concept but there was a huge faction of itune users who were
not happy with the free album and wanted to know how to delete it.
