I just wanted to say that today something finally clicked in my brain while listening to Outsider.

I LOVE IT !!!!!

Don’t ask me what brought this on, but this afternoon I finally appreciated Heep’s latest and greatest for what it is and not what I want it to be. For the first time, since the initial listen, I was able to distinguish one song from the other and not all sounding the same. At this time I do not have a favorite, but enjoying all songs on the same level. I feel bad for having to take so long to finally appreciate this album and still don’t know what clicked in my head today, but sometimes it just takes a little longer for an album to pass the “Dale Quality Test” !!!!

I know most of you have already given Outsider the proverbial thumbs up and now I know what you are feeling. This is probably the longest it has ever taken for me to accept one of Heep’s offerings, but as they say……..:Better late than never”.
