A group is a sum of its parts!  Do we not have any math teachers on the
list?  Lol!  :-)
I still think Trevor played his most impressive bass lines on this record.
Slade's drumming is the most thorough of any heep drummer, he displays a
power yet blends.  The keyboards while not B3 organ, are creative and Ken's
most masterful outside of High and mighty. Some of Mick's solos ae his best,
I always get Goosebumps on his guitar work on Fools and It Aint Easy.

I think John Sloman had some good qualities and most agree he was not the
right singer for Heep, especially when you listen to his versions of the
classics.  I never said he was a crap vocalist, I said Crap vocalists like
Bruce, Tom Waits, Joe Cocker, that had such raspy voices yet made it big.

Overall, the Conquest is an outstanding record,

"Heep music is meant to be enjoyed, not destroyed"!!!!!!
