Hey Don, no offence but I think Conquest is a great album. Totally unique for its time and for Heep. John over does the vocal variations on some songs and thats the albums only fault in my opinion. Theres at least 5 quality songs on this album and not really amy fillers. Its not Heeps best album but a very interesting and brave album at that time.

Its all about opinions and thank goodness we dont all agree all the time.

Guys, I just don't get it, I don't get Conquest.
I shelved that album over 32 years ago .
I brought it out again because of all the talk about it, I blew of a 1/4 inch of dust, .635 CM for my friend Igor:) I even put on my rose colored Heep glasses, I just can't get by Sloman  , It's back on the shelf.
I'll try it again though another time.
