[Heeplist] Reacquainted someone with Heep

I agree with you guys.  Although the early Bernie albums have several great songs a piece, it wasn't until Sonic that they became a cover to cover band again.

I see it a bit differently, Shawn, modern incarnation of Heep (since 1982 or 86 if you like) have been trying for quite a time to be trendy and the results were not very encouraging for real (classic) Heep fans although, as you said, good songs are present even on Different World. :))) Than they partially got back to the band's roots, which resulted in both critical acclaim and fans interest. As for me, I prefer, for being the most mature record of all made by that line up, Sonic Origami. Not only good songs, but very well produced as well. I wish there were more Heep records produced by Pip Williams, it is such a change for the better from "angular" tin-can-sounding Sea Of Light. Having said that, the music isn't to blame, the musicians performed on the highest level possible.
