 Good day to everyone,
I think, he's got a style of his own, but, unlike John Lawton's, his style and interpretation of Heep classics are not what each classic Heep lover would rate as high as Byron's. That is in fact the only major difference between John and the rest: even if his albums with Heep might not be as loved as Byron's, NO ONE doubts how great he is regardless of what he sings. The rest - Sloman, Goalby, Shaw - are quality singers - but not as influential, and sure nowhere near Lawton or, of course, Byron.
