Byron Amazing
Lawton Amazing
Sloman Great vocalist that didn't particularly suit Heep
Goalby fantastic and just what was needed in the early 80's
Fontaine could have been great, has a great voice
Shaw Amazing on his Heep era  and does more than justice to the classics.

Basically this shows that Heep have always been amazing with some great 
singers along the way.  Everyone's entitled to their own opinions and that 
should be encouraged.  I'm more than happy to enjoy all Heep and celebrate 
all who contributed.

Ok, I get it, Heep has had only one vocalist that matters.
I think everyone agrees Byron was great.  My Byron flag is half mast because
he is not around anymore.

What I fail to understand is why you and others cannot appreciate Heep music
that John Lawton sang?  No one ever said that it was better than Byron era.
And I do not ever remember anyone ever saying Bernie is better than Byron.

The Lawton talk started when I mentioned how I dug out Firefly and
thoroughly enjoyed it one evening last week.  "And You Can't Take that
Away...."
