Good luck with the job interview Terje, on Thursday I've been out of work 
for exactly 1 year.  Sadly unless you rent your home you get very little 
support in the UK.  If you rent they pay most of that, if you own they pay 
some of the interest payment only.  If I lose my house which is a great 
possibility if things dont change they will then pay me to live in a rented 
house, strange system lol.

Anyway like I say I hope you get that job.

That is just sad.. last time I was in the US was more than 10 years ago and 
I never saw anyone living on the streets.  I see plenty here in Europe now 
though. I think it’s a global problem, there is no jobs anymore, everyone is 
supposed to be computer geeks or bureaucrats.  I been unemployed for 2 years 
myself but luckily in Norway we have a strong social system so you get some 
security. Hopefully getting good news next week when going to a job 
intervue. :-)

There's no money in the USA, it's not what it used to be, in the cities
