Oooh I see Muff`s everywhere lol
Very interesting site Shawn, didn’t know Ray Davies was the first to use fuzz in the UK. You really got me is such a great song, I tried learn to play it actually but can't get it to sound right, maybe cuz I miss the fuzz..or that I do suck on guitar. I think maybe both lol

Terje,

I like how the reviewer in the *YouTube* video demo suggests ... getting both of the pedals.

*LOL ...!*

I enjoy Gearmandude's demonstration videos. His demonstration videos have personality. They're a real Kick!

I believe the Sovtek Big Muff pedals are somewhat scarce nowadays. I don't believe the Russian models are being manufactured anymore. I purchased my Sovtek pedal back in the 90's, via mail-order catalog, from Manny's Music in New York.

The U.S. Electro-Harmonix version of the Big Muff pedal is the only variety being manufactured currently, I believe.

Here is a link to an informative web-site about the many different eras & versions of the gizmo:

Take Care ... and Keep A *HEEP'n!*
